Legacy Modernization with AAC

Legacy Modernization with AACLegacy Modernization with AACSystem Integration enables users to access system data and functionality across the enterprise – especially legacy systems – often using single sign on. This can significantly enhance end user productivity as well as enterprise efficiency since users have more comprehensive access to data and, therefore, can make more accurate decisions. AAC has worked to integrate legacy systems across several projects and understands the different approaches available and can integrate them into a comprehensive solution.

For example, AAC supports System Integration activities for the USAF’s Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) program. As the Prime contractor we provide specialized systems development, configuration management, training, information assurance, and systems administration for the CAV AF program AAC also maintains the CAV AF system’s production, training, and testing databases. AAC supports the Enterprise Application Integrator (EAI) and the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS). AAC provides instrumental support in assisting HQ AFMC in the transition of Contract Depot Maintenance (CDM) from the legacy system of Government Furnished Material Transaction Reporting to the new CAV AF system process.

AAC provides full scope of applications, database, web support, systems management and administration services, and administrative support services. Our personnel support program management and engineering efforts to install the latest released version of CAV software. Our programmers use Microsoft .NET, XML, CGI, VB, Java, ASP, VB Script, and XHTML.

AAC is responsible for the deployment of the PKI initiative on the CAV AF system. We are the first contractor to deploy Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) outside the .mil domain. CAV AF is located on a “.com” site. We maintain the CAV AF servers off-site, but near Wright-Patterson AFB to allow the CAV II system support staff to have full access for maintenance of hardware and software, and to control the testing, training, and production environments more effectively and responsively.
